 Over the past year, my wife and I had discussed selling our large home with the potential of downsizing for the two of us. We had a basic idea of what we would like and expected to get for our home. Over this time, we spoke to a number of agents and some were very professional and certainly made our list of who we would like to represent us. In the fall we narrowed our decision down and interviewed a few agents while having them evaluate our home. All were very good however, we decided on Jeanne Bucci who exuded great enthusiasm, knowledge and professionalism. She showed us her plan to market the home and the items that she would undertake prior to placing our home on the market. These included bringing in a staging specialist (although the stager told us it was not necessary for our home) however, she did make a few changes that made the home show better in the video and still pictures. In addition, she brought in a photographer and videographer who produced an excellent product and an excellent home inspector to insure there were no issues that could harm the sale and give prospective buyers the comfort to place an unconditional offer. These items were all done prior to the final listing!

Jeanne discussed the listing price extensively with us and made recommendations that pricing it at a "sharp" price would likely get us a quick offer and likely more than one offer. As it turned out we received three over list offers immediately. Her final guidance through the presentation of offers was extremely helpful and resulted in a final sale of $100,000 over asking without conditions.

To say the least, Jeanne exceeded in every respect. We are now on the next portion of the process with Jeanne mining the market, including knocking on doors, to find our next purchase.

The decision to sell a home can often be a difficult one. We had contemplated selling ours for a long period of time, hesitating to do so because of our concerns about the process and the inevitable question of where to move to. When we finally felt that we were up to the task we had to select an agent to represent us. After meeting with other agents, we decided that Jeanne Bucci was the agent for us. She had prepared the most thorough market analyses, knew the competition, had a marketing strategy and was enthusiastic about selling our home. We could tell that this was not going to be an agent who would simply take the listing, advertise and hope for a buyer. Prior to listing with Jeanne, not only did she provide us with an excellent market analyses and advice as to pricing, she also thoroughly reviewed and discussed with us her responsibilities as an agent and the expectations of us as vendors. It was evident to us that Jeanne was concerned that we were entering into our relationship of vendors and agent in an honest and ethical manner.
