Dear Jeanne,

Thank you for your recent gift of $5,000.00.

Cancer changes a child's life. So does camp. Because of you, kids get the chance to just be kids, and families can access a community of strength and support when they need it the most-all at no cost to them. Thanks to you, kids and families affected by paediatric cancer can still experience the fun, friendship, and community of camp even during a pandemic. Your support means that virtual programs and Camp-in-a-Box kits are reaching our Campers in homes and hospitals, all across Ontario. COVID 19 can't stop camp-thanks to you.

"Virtual camp is pure magic and these days, we all need a little magic. It's not just for the kids; you do it for us all." - Camper parent

In January 2020, Camp Ooch & Camp Trillium merged. The many benefits of this new partnership are already being felt. Your support means we can make the most of this historic opportunity to offer deeper support-more programs, in more places-for more kids and families all across Ontario. Thank you for supporting our Campers and families - you are a true champion.

Food Banks Canada

Dear Jeanne,

Thank you so much for being a lifeline to Canadians in need.

We're so grateful to have your support, especially when 1 in 7 households are experiencing food insecurity. Your generosity in 2020 meant we could keep Canada's food banks stocked to keep up with demand during an incredibly difficult year for many.

With so many of our neighbours struggling to feed themselves and their families right now, your kindness is deeply appreciated. Thank you again for helping to relieve hunger today and preventing hunger tomorrow.

Chris Hatch
Chief Executive Officer, Food Banks Canada
P.S. With your help we look forward to keeping the momentum going in 2021.

Dear Friends:

It is with immense gratitude that I extend my appreciation for your valued support of McMaster Children's Hospital. Together, we are making a difference in the lives of the children and youth who rely on McMaster Children's Hospital, including Ron Joyce Children's Health Centre, McMaster University Medical Centre and their programs.

Your contributions enable investments in life-saving equipment, innovative research initiatives, lifealtering support programs, redevelopment of patient care spaces, and the education and training of health care providers dedicated to providing exemplary care. Your support directly impacts our region's children and their families as they depend on McMaster Children's Hospital in their time of need.

With nearly 270,000 patient visits each year, McMaster Children's Hospital is one of Canada's leading pediatric health care facilities. The Hospital is the second largest provider of inpatient pediatric services in Ontario, home to Canada's largest neonatal intensive care unit including supportive maternal care, the largest pediatric mental health program in Canada and the only inpatient pediatric cancer program in south-central Ontario.

Your support benefits patients like Maddie who was born with cystic fibrosis and diagnosed with leukemia at age 3. After enduring three years of treatment and assorted complications, Maddie finished chemotherapy and is now cancer free. Maddie enjoys being back in school, where she can spend more time with friends.

"We're grateful to the team at McMaster Children's Hospital, who helped us every step of the way." - Keri-Lyn, Maddie's mom Thank you for your compassion and generosity . Through your gift, you are truly showcasing that it is to care.

Sincerely,
Pearl F. Veenema, FAHP

McMaster Children's Hospital Foundation

Dear Mrs. Bucci,
Thank you for your commitment to helping the children and families who rely on the extraordinary care provided by staff at McMaster Children's Hospital each and every day! Your gift, in honour of Mr. Daniel Bucci to the Pediatric Oncology Fund, is truly appreciated.

The funds raised for McMaster Children's Hospital will help ensure that the hospital's dedicated team of health care professionals have the lifesaving equipment and other resources they need to serve the special and unique healthcare needs of children and youth. The specialized services we provide are not available at any other hospital in the region.

You are supporting children like Everlee who receives ongoing care at McMaster Children's Hospital for acute lymphoblastic leukemia. She has undergone 1 surgery, to insert a port catheter into her chest for access to her veins during chemotherapy, 2 bone marrow aspirations and 10 lumbar punctures to receive chemotherapy injections into her spinal cord. Everlee's treatment is expected to be completed in May 2018. "The care she receives is amazing and I am forever grateful that McMaster Children's Hospital saved her life," says Everlee's mother, Amy.

Your generosity is truly appreciated! Please accept our MacKid Everlee deepest thanks for helping us to deliver on our commitment of Health Care, Transformed.

Yours sincerely,
Jennifer Laughton, CFRE

Jeanne,
Thank you for your very generous donation to Camp Trillium. Camp Trillium receives no government funding so all of the wonderful work we do for children living with cancer is thanks to people, companies, service clubs, foundations and groups like you. It is not easy to raise all of the money necessary to send 3,100 children and families living with cancer to camp each year and we are grateful for your support and endeavour to spend every penny wisely so that your money makes a difference.

Camp Trillium is all about creating fun programs for families and enabling relationships to flourish.

"When a child smiles all their pain vanishes. Causing a child to smiles is one of the greatest things I have ever done." Matt, past camper, current camp counsellor."

It is about taking a very normal experience like going to camp and making sure that every child in the province of Ontario diagnosed with cancer is able to attend whether they are 8 months or 17 years old. We do this by offering both residential and family camp programs year round.

"Camp Trillium changes your life, it's something so special it never leaves you — there's a kind of magic about Camp Trillium." Dave

Camp Trillium does not cure children but it strengthens children in their battle against cancer. Simple things like campfire, crafts, swimming, and kayaking bring happiness. Challenges like the Rock Wall and ropes course help our campers to realize that they can do more than they think.

"No one wants to get cancer but I'm glad I did because it brought me to Camp Trillium." Claire, camper and future Camp Counsellor

You help us to make memories that stay with children and families forever. Thank you for joining the Camp Trillium family.

With Warmest Regards,
Marci Shea-Perry
Executive Director
